Seat Tube angle- 71.5 degrees
Seat Tube Height- 10.5-inches
Chainstay Length- 15.25-inches
BB Drop- 25mm

-Integrated headset
-Seity spanish BB system
-External triple butted seat tubes
-Double-butted tubing throughout
-Compact micro dropouts
-Full black ED treatment on the inside of the tubes to prevent rust
-100% post-weld heat treated.

Here’s what Eric Davies, of Deity has to say about the development of the Cryptkeeper:
“What you see here is our first prototype and we are already making some subtle changes for the fram
es you will see at the end of the year. The Cryptkeeper will also be joined by our upcoming street specific frame, the Streetsweeper which, like the Cryptkeeper, will be designed to focus on the needs of dedicated street/park riders. The needs of a dirt jumper and the needs of the street rider in terms of frame design are two different worlds and must be treated as such.

We wanted to create a true aggressive dedicated dirt jump bike with the Cryptkeeper.

Our focus started with BB height issues which all center around a frames “BB Drop”. This is the center point of where the BB shell sits in line with the center point of the wheel axles. By using a 25mm BB drop, we are able to get the center of gravity lower without sacrificing maneuverability of the front end off the ground. By using super-short 15.25″ chainstays, the bike is able to accelerate extremely fast out of
berms and by being balanced with a 22.25″ top tube length, the rider is directly centered on the bike making its handling extremely predictable.

The Cryptkeeper sits with a 69.5 degree head angle that allows clearance for bar spins, keeps the front end aggressive on steep lips and landings, but also stable so the front end of the bike does not feel twitchy. It is a fine balance, but we are proud of the first proto and the hard work we put into it.

We wanted to create simplicity with this bike and incorporate a Spanish BB shell, integrated headset, clean lines, minimalistic stay braces, superior standover clearance.

The Cryptkeeper features a full post-weld heat treatment process that increases the weld strength, and fatigue life of a cromo frame, and allows us to create an incredibly strong frame. The full ED black finish treatment we do inside all of the tubing is to prevent rust.

We will be releasing frame details on our web site on Halloween, so even though you may have to wait a bit for colors and final details, the wait will be worth it, knowing we have tested the frame for a full year prior to putting it under you. 2010 marks a huge transition for deity as 85% of our product line is changing in May. Due to our recent relocation to our new facility in Idaho, we are now able to hit you guys hard with some exciting plans we have. Stay tuned.

Ti Bolts save the earth. Perhaps, but it saves you grams.

March 10th, 2010

Ti Bolts that fits Point One Face Plate / Rock Shox Boxxer Crown & whatever else that uses M5 bolts. (Note not the bolts that hold it to the stem to the crown, we’ve seem many of the Ti bolts break there)

Deity Tibia uses only one bolt to hold everything together, why not make it TI? From the scale, there’s a 10% reduction on a full length post, now imagine the weight savings if you cut your post??

Cheers, :)
